Do you work with college students and young adults (stress, anxiety, transitions)?

Quick Answer

Yes. We provide counseling for college students and young adults navigating stress, anxiety, and life transitions. You can meet with us in person or through secure online therapy and virtual counseling. We offer practical tools for coping, confidence, and healthy routines so you can feel more grounded and thrive.

Detailed Answer

Yes, we provide counseling for college students and young adults who feel overwhelmed by stress and anxiety and major life transitions. Whether you are starting college, transferring schools, managing a heavy workload, or preparing for graduation, our individual therapy gives you a safe, confidential space to reset and move forward.

In sessions, we look at what is fueling the anxiety and what will help right now. Your therapist may use evidence-based approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to shift unhelpful thought loops, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills to handle big emotions, and mindfulness-based tools for grounding, focus, and sleep. If past experiences are still affecting your present, we can also use trauma-informed therapy such as EMDR or Brainspotting when appropriate.

We offer in-person appointments and online therapy and virtual counseling through a secure, HIPAA-compliant video platform, so support can fit a student schedule. Sessions are typically 45 or 60 minutes, often weekly or every other week at first, and spaced out as you build skills and meet goals.

If you want added structure for attention, planning, or career direction, you may benefit from ADHD and executive functioning coaching or Career Coaching.
