Prepare for the fall and winter by familiarizing yourself with essential information about this seasonal affective disorder.⁠

Here are a few ways to manage and potentially prevent SAD:⁠

Maximize Exposure to Natural Light⁠
Since a lack of sunlight is a primary trigger for SAD, increasing your exposure to natural light is key. Aim to spend more time outdoors during daylight hours, even on cloudy days. If you can, sit by a window to soak in the sunlight.⁠

Light Therapy (Phototherapy)⁠
