Nitsan is dedicated to empowering her clients by helping them utilize and embrace the freedom of choice. She sees her clients as partners on a journey of self-discovery, exploring who they are and who they wish to become. As a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and National Certified Counselor (NCC), Nitsan believes in authenticity and the healing power of humor; you can expect to laugh and cry equally in sessions!
With a compassionate approach, Nitsan draws from evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy (REBT), and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). She also incorporates experiential techniques from Gestalt therapy, making sessions feel like a playful exploration. Her goal is to help clients find their strength, make informed decisions, and take control of their lives.
Nitsan uses person-centered approaches that emphasize unconditional acceptance and positive regard, free from judgment. She believes in the importance of recognizing that there is no single right way to live. What may be the right path for one person may not necessarily be right for another. She works with clients of all ages, from minors to adults, to expand their horizons and step out of their comfort zones.
As a bilingual immigrant and mother of twins, Nitsan brings a multicultural perspective to her practice. She has extensive experience working with individuals from diverse ethnic, religious, and national backgrounds. Nitsan understands the importance of considering each person’s unique ecosystem and cultural background, as we are all products of the environments in which we grew up.
Nitsan has a wealth of experience in various settings, both in the U.S. and overseas. Her background includes work in hospital and inpatient facilities, outpatient and community settings (CSB), schools, and community outreach programs. She holds dual master’s degrees in family counseling (M.A.) and school counseling (M.A.).
Nitsan is excited to work with children aged 8 and up, adolescents, adults, and parents. Feel free to reach out to Nitsan for a consultation.
