Therapist for Emotionally Drained, High-Achievers Specializing in Boundaries, Relational Stress, & Life Transitions

The best way to find out if this approach is for you is to schedule a 15 minute consultation. Depending on your therapist’s availability, this consult may be held over the phone, via video, or in-person.

Brooke is an individual therapist specializing in therapy for late teens, college students, and adults navigating high-functioning anxiety, burnout, chronic stress, boundary challenges, and difficult family or social dynamics. She works with clients who may appear put-together or high-functioning on the outside, but feel overwhelmed, anxious, emotionally drained, or disconnected beneath the surface.

Brooke’s approach to therapy is modern, collaborative, and emotionally engaged; rooted in realness, vulnerability, and a touch of humor. Her sessions feel like thoughtful conversations with depth, offering a space where clients are encouraged to show up fully: messy, unsure, curious, and growing. Therapy with Brooke is guided by compassion and honesty, with the belief that healing doesn’t mean becoming someone new, it means becoming more fully yourself.

Clients often work with Brooke to address:

  • High-functioning anxiety, perfectionism, and burnout
  • Emotionally draining family or relationship patterns
  • Boundary-setting and people-pleasing
  • Complex or enmeshed family dynamics
  • Identity exploration and self-worth
  • Major life transitions: college, parenthood, breakups, career shifts

Brooke brings a deep attunement to how early family roles and internalized narratives continue to shape one’s present-day emotions, relationships, and sense of self. Her passion lies in helping clients untangle these patterns and reconnect with their own clarity, voice, and confidence.

Her clinical work is grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), person-centered care, emotionally-focused reflection, and strengths-based counseling. She is trained in attachment theory and continues to deepen her expertise in working with anxiety, relational trauma, and identity development.

In the therapy room, Brooke balances presence with practicality – able to sit with the hard stuff, while also helping clients move toward insight, self-trust, and meaningful change while learning tools that actually fit your life. Brooke’s goal is to help clients feel truly seen, gently challenged, and more empowered to live authentically.
