What is health coaching?
An Integrative Nutrition Health Coach is your partner for total-person nourishment. They help facilitate change by:
- taking the time to understand your unique health history and goals,
- providing personalized resources and education,
- asking the right questions,
- offering accountability in a judgment-free environment, and
- encouraging you to take action… one step at a time.

Who is it for?
Health coaching is for you if you feel overwhelmed about food or want support and accountability to live a healthy lifestyle. Health coaching services can also be tailored specifically for perinatal needs, such as nutrition for fertility, a healthy pregnancy, and establishing a new relationship with food postpartum. Whatever your needs, a health coaching program can be customized to you.
HWP provides health coaching services to young adults (18+) and adults.

What can I expect during a session?
Unlike mainstream approaches to health, health coaching sessions focus on YOU, the individual. Food and lifestyle recommendations are based on your goals, circumstances and health history. With this approach, change feels attainable and relevant.
In the first session, your health coach will explore your health history, goals, and needs. You will feel heard and supported in a judgement-free zone.
Each session thereafter is customized. Your health coach will use proven coaching methods, holistic health expertise, practical eating psychology, and individualized support to guide you.
At the end of each session, you’ll agree on recommended actions to take. You’ll also receive resources or handouts. Between sessions, you may message your health coach for extra accountability.
