Courtney Daniels, LCSW
Today you have taken a difficult step, perhaps one you have been contemplating for some time. Today, you are taking action towards a healthier and happier YOU! This may feel scary and overwhelming as all change does. My goal is to help you feel comfortable, safe, supported and empowered during our time together.
Difficult experiences can uncover our strengths and lead to beautiful destinations. We cannot reach these destinations if we are stuck, moving in circles or looking back. If you are ready, I would be honored to join and guide you as you explore unfamiliar paths, overcome roadblocks and advance towards your well-being goals.
Every individual and every situation is unique; therefore, my supportive, collaborative and eclectic approach to therapy will be tailored specifically to you. I employ a variety of evidence-based techniques including cognitive-behavioral therapy, family systems theory, solution focused therapy, mindfulness and psycho-education.
I specialize in maternal mental health, pregnancy, perinatal loss, parenting challenges and adjusting to complex medical diagnoses. My passion is helping women (and their partners) navigate through the imperfect experience of motherhood. Becoming a parent can be a beautiful, exciting and rewarding time. However, for many, it can become a scary, overwhelming and dark time. Let’s work together to get your light shinning again.
