Leigh is a psychotherapist and a Certified Trauma Professional (CTP) who strives to empower clients to not only make positive changes within themselves, but to play an active role within the lives of their loved ones, friends, and communities as well. Leigh believes that a strong therapeutic alliance is the greatest determining factor in the success of any form of therapy, and brings that mindset into each session.

Leigh focuses on mindfulness-based and evidence-based treatments and has specialized advanced training in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Trauma-Focused therapeutic work, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy for Trauma (SFBT-T) Bilateral Stimulation Therapies (EMDR & TheraTapper), Somatic Based Interventions, and Restorative Retelling.  She is a Certified Holistic Life, Career, and Executive Coach and is in the process of completing her training and certification as a meditation and mindfulness teacher.

Leigh utilizes a wide range of tools and techniques from Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), Strengths-Based Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to ensure clients have a well-rounded therapeutic experience. Leigh believes the goal of therapy is not to push away or deny our thoughts and feelings but to mindfully accept their presence and learn to change the way in which we relate to them so we can heal our hurt and free ourselves from our “stuck loops.”

Leigh has worked in the non-profit sector counseling victims of domestic violence and interpersonal violence, as well as managing a transitional housing program. She has also served as primary therapist and group therapist in an intensive outpatient and partial hospitalization program. Prior to moving full-time into counseling, Leigh worked for more than two decades in corporate management and leadership roles, using her social services experience and business skills to foster growth and success in the individuals around her. She brings an enthusiasm and a commitment to help foster personal growth, healing, connection, and independence in the lives of all her clients and colleagues.
