The best way to find out if this approach is for you is to schedule a 15 - 20 minute consultation. Depending on your clinician’s availability, this consult may be held over the phone, via video, or in-person.
At Holistic Wellness Practice, we combine traditional psychiatric care with primary care and evidence-based alternative therapies to offer a comprehensive and personalized approach to mental health. This method allows us to address not just your symptoms, but also the underlying causes of your mental health concerns. Our goal is to provide a complete and balanced approach to mental health that is tailored to your unique needs.
Our team of experienced psychiatrists and therapists is dedicated to providing the highest quality of care. We work closely with you to create a personalized care plan that considers your mental, physical, and emotional well-being.
Our initial evaluation begins with a detailed look at your overall health. This includes both mental and physical assessments, such as psychiatric evaluations, routine or functional blood work, and hormone testing. These steps help us identify any underlying issues that might be affecting your well-being.
After your evaluation, we develop a treatment plan tailored to your unique needs. This plan might include supplements, nutrition advice, lifestyle adjustments, and, if necessary, traditional prescriptions. Everything is designed to support both your mental and physical health.
We focus on treating you as a whole person, not just addressing individual symptoms. This means looking at how your diet, exercise, sleep, and overall lifestyle impact your mental health, ensuring all aspects of your life are considered in your care.
Our approach involves a team of professionals, including doctors, psychiatrists, psychologists, nutritionists, and other professionals all working together. This collaboration ensures that every part of your health is well-coordinated and managed effectively.
We don’t just treat existing issues; we also focus on prevention. Our goal is to help you maintain long-term health by encouraging habits that prevent future mental and physical health problems.
You are the most important part of your care. We encourage you to take an active role in your treatment, making sure your care plan reflects your personal goals and needs. This way, your healthcare experience is truly personalized and empowering.

After the first follow-up, subsequent visits are scheduled every 1-3 months for clients who have started medication and require refills or adjustments.

HWP does not accept insurance. Managed care companies were created to “manage” and contain escalating health care costs. Their bottom line is to reduce costs and raise profits; it is not to increase the quality of care professionals provide or your quality of life. HWP is solution-focused on quality of life and personal goals.
If you need to cancel or change your appointment, we ask you to inform your provider at least 24 hours in advance of your scheduled session start time. Your full session fee will be charged for missed appointments and cancellations received less than 24 hours in advance.
Cash, credit cards, and health savings (HSA) or flex spending account (FSA) cards that have a major credit card logo on it are all accepted forms of payment.
