Our Approach to Integrative Psychiatry

Comprehensive Evaluation

Our integrative psychiatry in Sandy Springs starts with a complete assessment of your mental and physical health. We use psychiatric evaluations alongside advanced testing, such as routine or functional blood work and hormone analysis, to uncover any underlying issues that might be impacting your overall well-being.

Personalized Treatment Plans

Following your initial evaluation, we design a treatment plan tailored specifically to your needs. This plan may include a combination of supplements, nutritional guidance, lifestyle changes, and, if necessary, traditional medications. Our approach ensures that your mental and physical health are supported together.

Holistic Care

We believe in treating you as a whole person. This involves considering how your diet, exercise, sleep, and daily habits affect your mental health. By addressing these areas, we aim to provide care that improves all aspects of your life.

Team Collaboration

Our method relies on teamwork among various healthcare providers, such as doctors, psychiatrists, psychologists, nutritionists, and other specialists.  This collaborative approach allows us to provide comprehensive care that addresses all of your needs.

Focus on Prevention

We focus not only on treating your current mental health concerns but also on preventing future issues. By promoting healthy habits and preventive care, we help you maintain long-term mental and physical wellness.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I schedule an appointment?

If you are a new client, you may schedule your consultation or your initial appointment by visiting the contact page and filling out the short form or by calling (470) 231-5355 and speaking directly to our client care coordinator.

All outreaches are returned within 24 hours, during business hours.

Do you accept my insurance?

HWP does not accept insurance. Managed care companies were created to “manage” and contain escalating health care costs. Their bottom line is to reduce costs and raise profits; it is not to increase the quality of care professionals provide or your quality of life. HWP is solution-focused on quality of life and personal goals.

What is your cancellation policy?

If you need to cancel or change your appointment, we ask you to inform your provider at least 24 hours in advance of your scheduled session start time. Your full session fee will be charged for missed appointments and cancellations received less than 24 hours in advance.

What forms of payment do you accept?

Cash, credit cards, and health savings (HSA) or flex spending account (FSA) cards that have a major credit card logo on it are all accepted forms of payment.
